I’ll be slab sawing a 40-inch long, 8-inch diameter juniper log. It will require changing the bandsaw blade to a 1-inch 6TPI blade, adjusting the guides and tensions, and using the large bandsaw sled to ensure consistent slabs. We can also discuss future workshop to quarter- saw a larger juniper log. Anyone interested in reviewing and participating in changing the blade, cutting the slabs, and fine-tuning the guides and bearings is welcome to join. After, the 3/8”4 TPI blade will be re-installed and the guides and bearings re-calibrated.
