Table Saw Safety

People have been doing fine, close work, and members have created specialized jigs to keep their fingers away from the blade. If you are new to the woodshop, we can share some hints regarding changing blades (Gordon discovered that the blade lock works) disconnecting power when changing blades, mandatory use of the riving blade, and other safety tips. There has been discussion of eventually getting a saw stop, but that is in the early stages and you may be able to provide some input.
