Using the Bandsaw to Make Small Boards from Logs

We’ll be changing the bandsaw blade to a one-inch fine-tooth, and you can learn to set the ten or so guides and wheels. We will then saw up some juniper, cherry, and some of the apple wood a group of us harvested at Hermosa Orchards last year. Some of the pieces we cut can be used in the future to make small boxes or cutting boards. You can bring your own logs, hopefully less than forty inches long and less than ten inches in diameter to slice up with the large sled, but smaller logs can be cut on the small sled
