This class will focus on how to use the Textile Lab's serger machine. Sergers are frequently used to make apparel, bags, gear, household items and more. Sergers use 3-4 threads (typically) at a time to enclose the raw edges of fabric. A serger can seam, cut and finish an edge in one pass. They are an extremely useful tool, and we happen to have an excellent, easy to use Baby Lock serger with air threading and auto tensioning.

This class is appropriate for members with experience using basic sewing machines who have taken Intro to Textiles. Please message Leah Roy-Ehri on Slack with any questions.
