The Sherline lathe is back up and running. It's a small machine, but it's quite capable. This lathe is able to make high precision (down to 0.001 inch) and beautiful parts. This model can make anything from fancy pen housings to mini steam engines or clocks.

In this class you'll learn the basics of setting up and operating the lathe and its most common operations: facing, turning and on-center drilling.

As this is a machining class, long hair will need to be pulled back. Loose jewelry or long sleeves won't be allowed.
