Hands on welding basics with Jerica, 20 year welding veteran. Learn how to tack and weld with the MIG welder, welding safety, machine settings, and mechanics of laying down a good bead. Practice welding on coupons and assorted metal pieces (supplied). The focus will be on giving you time to get comfortable welding. The class fee covers materials and the welder's consumables.
Note: please wear appropriate clothing: thick cotton or fireproof clothing, leather shoes, and if you happen to have welding gloves and helmet, bring them.
