Get some experience using the sewing machines in the textiles lab while repurposing old jeans into a heavy duty apron!
Please bring one or two pairs of old, worn jeans. Message Leah Roy-Ehri on Slack if that's an issue or barrier. You are welcome to bring other materials/patches that you would like to add to your apron. This is a very flexible project.
We will primarily sew on the new heavy duty basic Singer machines, but there will be opportunities to use the Jack industrial machine, serger and even the embroidery machine if desired.
We will start at 4, but the ending time is up to you. If you feel like you have gotten what you need you could leave before 7. I will be at the lab until 8pm.
