MIG Welding Basics

Get comfortable with MIG Welding.  Hands on welding basics with Jerica, 20 year welding veteran.  Learn about materials that can be used in The MakerLab, welding safety, machine settings, and mechanics of laying down a good bead.  Practice welding on coupons and assorted metal pieces (supplied).  And as a bonus see an Oxi-Aceteline Torch at work. 

Prerequisite:  You must have taken Intro to Metal Lab prior to this class.

Note: please wear appropriate clothing as was detailed in the Into to Metal Lab class: thick cotton or fireproof clothing, leather shoes, and bring your own PPE if you have it.
