Glassblowing – Intermediate Guided Creative Session

Prerequisite required: students must have completed BOTH 101 Solid Sculpting and 101 Cups

This is the perfect bridge class before the independent “open studio / self-directed” level.

In this guided intermediate session, returning 101 students will build on the skills already learned in the intro classes—while taking the next step into personal creative choice. Each student will choose one object they’d like to make (with instructor approval for feasibility), and Lucy will provide hands-on instruction, step-by-step coaching, and safety guidance as you shape your idea into hot glass.

This class is NOT for brand-new beginners—this is specifically for returning students who are not yet ready for the fully independent “make whatever you want” final studio level, but who are ready to move past repeating intro drills.

What this class provides:

  • skill refinement at the bench
  • design planning support
  • one-on-one instruction while executing a chosen piece
  • coaching to prepare you for the full independent third class level

Who can sign up:

Only students who have already completed:

  • 101 – Solid Sculpting

AND

  • 101 – Making Cups
