Glass Two: Intro to Solid Glass Scupting

Take your glass artistry to the next level with Glass Two: Intro to Glass Blowing. This hands-on class will introduce students to the fundamentals of working with molten glass to create hollow forms. The focus will be on shaping and blowing a cylinder, which can be refined into a drinking cup or a small vase.This course builds on skills learned in Glass One, where students gain an understanding of gathering glass from the furnace and using essential bench tools. While not required, it is strongly recommended that students complete Glass One before enrolling in Glass Two to ensure they have the foundational skills needed for success.

What to Bring:

•A drink to stay hydrated

•Sunglasses or eye protection (if you don’t wear prescription glasses)
•Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
•Long pants (shorts are not permitted for safety reasons)
